  3. 3rd European Youth Forum for Road Safety • Main objectives: • Strengthen the European Youth network • Sharing experiences and knowledge • Plan collective European road safety action

  4. 3rd European Youth Forum for Road Safety • First day: • Introducing organizations • Sharing road safety activities • Setting the scene: • FIA Foundation: Decade of Action • YOURS: Scope of problem, global youth network, World Crossing Campaign

  5. 3rd European Youth Forum for Road Safety • First day: • Setting the scene: • European Commission: new outlines • Aliou Oumarou: sharing road safety experience and problems on the African continent

  6. 3rd European Youth Forum for Road Safety • Second day: • Hands-on, action oriented agenda: planning a collective European campaign. • 4 workshops, discussing com. tools, planning • development of a roadmap of activities • Michelin represented Private Sector and presented ´do´s and don’ts´ approaching a company for funding

World Crossing Campaign • Why the World Crossing Campaign? • to show the world that we are united as one global youth network for road safety and we are committed to keep young people safe; • urge for action and support for especially youth initiatives; • in order to get global recognition of the importance of young people’s participation in road safety.

  8. World Crossing Campaign • Asked youth network for participation • Make a 10 second video • Theme was visibility • Winner has access to a 1000 EURO grant for their own youth activity for road safety • End result …
