Kit list – reminder Your child must be able to carry their own bag! • Plenty of socks • Plenty of underwear • Trainers (2 pairs at least) • Trousers x 3 (NOT jeans) • Waterproof jacket and trousers • Long sleeved tops • Bin liner for dirty washing • Anorak / fleece • Old clothes • Sunhat and cream / hat and gloves • Camera – named • Cuddly toy (small) • Reading book / travel game • Small rucksack • Packed lunch for 1st day • Travel sweets – mints, not gum or chocolate • Water bottle • Tissues • Pyjamas / nightdress • Shower towel • Wash bag, flannel, soap, toothbrush, etc. • Hairbrush/comb and ties • No spray deodorant • Watch / travel clock • Bedding (not pillow)

Essential items to take • Waterproofs - trousers as well as a jacket • Trainers / walking shoes- 2 pairs at least • Bedding – sleeping bag or duvet and a pillow case • Water bottle • Small rucksack • Socks – named and plenty of them! • Packed lunch for the first day ALL ITEMS MUST BE CLEARLY LABELLED

  6. Kit List • Please send old clothes rather than new ones. They will get dirty! • Remember sun cream and hat – it might be hot! • Alternatively it could be cold – may need gloves/hats! • Children must not bring electronic games, iPods, mobile phones or any valuables

  7. Communication • Staff are in contact with the school every day • In case of an emergency please ring the school office: 01727 855134 School Hours 01582 766 195 Out of office hours 07752 005373 Out of office hours (Mobile) Mrs Heaton will then contact Manor Adventure

  8. Letters • Letter from home - please give your letter to Mr Yeldham on the morning of departure (subtly) • Address for further letter: Manor Adventure The Manor Craven Arms Shropshire SY7 9BY

  9. Meals • Three cooked meals a day • Always a choice • Salad / fruit provided every day • Vegetarians and special diets catered for • Drinks (juice / water) always available

  10. Accommodation • The Woodland Village • The Lodge • All rooms are ensuite • Teachers’ rooms located adjacent to children’s rooms.

Departure Arrangements Medication Only medication prescribed by a doctor can be taken to Manor Adventure. • All medication to be handed in to Mrs Franklin in the purple room on the morning of departure. • All medication must be clearly labelled. • Inhalers – children need two blue inhalers. Brown inhalers and spare inhalers must be kept by Mrs Franklin. • Travel sickness – return tablet in envelope and given to Mrs Franklin.

  14. Monday 10th September • 9.30 children arrive at Fleetville through the Year 3 doors • Luggage – 6B: classroom, 6C: back of hall (6Y split – children will be told where to leave their case) • ALL medication given directly to Mrs Franklin in the purple room • Letters from home to be handed to Mr Yeldham • Parents leave their children in the hall but can wait by the coaches (in Morrison's car park) • Children are registered and meet their group leaders in the hall for a briefing. • 10.00 Load coaches and depart as soon as practically possible.

  15. Coming Home! Friday 14th September • 13:30 Depart from Manor Adventure • Estimated arrival at Fleetville is between 17:00 and 17:30 • Parent Mail system will be in operation should there be any changes to our arrival details. • Updates will be posted on the website / blog
