Improving Americans’ financial future Fewer young adults say they procrastinate on saving money: 46% in 2006 vs 41% in 2012. Since 2006, significant increase in the percentage of young adults who report saving money regularly. Increased percentage of young adults who report they are excellentor pretty good at managing money: 50% in 2006 to 62% in 2013. Two-thirds of young adults feel financially stable.
