What is Whaling? Whaling is when people kill whales for their oil, margirine, meat, and or bones. It began way back in prehistoric times . The oldest known method of whaling was to force them to the shore by putting a some small boats amid the whales to scare them with the boat’s noise and activity, herding them towards the shore to beach. Then they used a drogue tied it to a harpoon and killed the whales. A whaling harpoon
Whaling in Japan Currently, Japan is whaling for “scientific reasons” but really the whale meat goes to restraunts. Pretty much all of the “research” Japan is doing is incorrect and it is just to find out how to make whaling more efficient. Whale meat being served in a Japanese restraunt
