This project focuses on the establishment of computing centers and curriculum development for a Master's program in Mathematical Engineering in Central Asia. The main objectives are to strengthen academic capacity, develop the master's program, establish computing centers, and create a shared platform among partners. The project has been successful with some minor risks identified, mainly related to underutilization of resources and platforms. The risk assessment scale ranges from 1 to 5.

Exercise 1-To strengthen academic capacity of experts on mathematical engineering in Central Asia via development and implementation of interdisciplinary Master program “Mathematical Engineering” through collaboration with all stakeholders. No risks (Activity realized 100% at IITU University, Almaty) In 2018 June IITU will have the first graduates of ECCUM MA project. The group was experimental as it studied according to the created by consortium curriculum and syllabi. 2- To develop interdisciplinary master program in Mathematical Engineering - No risks (Activity realized 100% at IITU University, Almaty) Implemented and still is in the process of its enhancing. 3- To establish 5 Computing Centers in each Central Asian partner university - No risks (Activity realized 100% at IITU University, Almaty) Established, but works not in its full capacity. The reason – less attention is given by due to the weak technological provision of partner-universities. Needs to be actively used as the educational resource (distance learning, videoseminars etc) 4- To develop a shared platform between partners – RISK: The platform was established only with a branch of Turin University, Tashkent. Should be used more actively, the need to disseminate the information of it among IITU professors, stakeholders.
Specific project objectives In order to achieve the broad objective, the main objectives of ECCUM are: 1-To strengthen academic capacity of experts on mathematical engineering in Central Asia via development and implementation of interdisciplinary Master program “Mathematical Engineering” through collaboration with all stakeholders. 2- To develop interdisciplinary master program in Mathematical Engineering 3- To establish 5 Computing Centers in each Central Asian partner university 4- To develop a shared platform between partners
