The Nurses’ Association of Thailand [NAT] The national philanthropic organization that promotes the continued growth and development of nurses and service to advance the work of nursing profession through the development and support of programs of excellence throughout the country.
NAT • Founded in May 6, 1929 • Under the Royal Patronage of Her Royal Highness the Princess Mother since 1957 • Enrolled a full membership of the International Council of Nurses in 1961
NAT • A center of the research, education, charitable and collaboration among nurses, particularly the Nursing Council of Thailand. • The Association compliments the work of the Nursing Council of Thailand, the largest official nursing organization and other national and locally groups in Thailand

Objectives • To be a forum and a center for sharing and exchanging of knowledge, expertise related to nursing profession • To promote the unity, morality and professional ethics in nursing practice • To advance nursing profession through the development of standards of nursing practice, promoting excellence of nursing education, research and dissemination of knowledge

Affiliated member: approved practical nurses or assistant midwives 4. Young member: nursing students 5. Member organization: association or society of nursing specialization or alumni of nursing schools
