Notable Conclusions from the Project Concerning Lab Equipment Concerning Lab Courses • Students are unaware that laboratory equipment differs between campuses . • Only 29% of students on pre-course surveys and 33%* of students on post-course surveys ranked equipment as the most important component of the course. • Most students expect their lab experience to be the same on all campuses. • 53% of students on pre-course surveys and 75%* of students on post-course surveys consider the instructor to be the most important component of the course. *One survey marked both equipment and the instructor as the most important component.
