Location Quotient Allows us to see if we are over or under supplied in a given occupation compared to the nation. • LQs near 1 indicate about the same ratio as the US • LQs over 1 indicate more workers per population in MT than the US • LQs under 1 indicate fewer workers per population in MT than the US
