  1. PROJECT Given Data Tenth-story concrete shear wall office building. It is located in Gaza on very dense soil. The story heights are 3,5m for the first floor and 3.0m for the second to the tenth floor. D.L=5,00 kN/m2, L.L=3,5kN/m2.Columns dimension 400400mm and the shear walls (1)& (2) are 5000250mm.Requirements Using the equivalent lateral force procedure to determine the following:Seismic base shear, VSeismic story shearDesign the shear wall (2) at the basementDesign wind pressures on primary wind-resisting system.
