  4. Findings TNA 2000 • BDP is complex • Cross Sectoral planning • Spatial ( large- space/area) planning • Cross admin boundary planning • Requires Modern approach to IWRM & INRM. need applied knowledge incross cutting themes- than just sectors

TNA 2000- some suggestions • River Basin Planning • IWRM/ Planning • Natural Resources planning/management • Integrated Watershed planning and management • Socio-economic and political/administrative aspects of integrated water resources management • Linking natural resources and environmental economics • Strategic planning process, guidelines and criteria • Hydrology related processes linked to transboundary impact analysis • Social-economic impact assessment of projects
