  3. Refining Fire “A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a slave above his master. It is enough for the disciple that he become like his teacher, and the slave like his master. If they have called the head of the house Beelzebul, how much more will they malign the members of his household!” Matthew 10:24-25

  4. Refining Fire In every circumstance: • Joyfully Endure Christ’s Suffering (12-14). • Boldly Reflect Christ’s Character (15-18). • Confidently Trust God’s Plan (19).

  5. Refining Fire While being reviled, He did not revile in return; while suffering, He uttered no threats, but kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously. 1 Peter 2:23
