Financial Aid … • File your FAFSA (www.fafsa.ed.gov). *Don’t use .com!! • MCC offers workshops to get one-on-one help: http://www.monroecc.edu/depts/finaid/workshop.htm • Wait for your S.A.R (Student Aid Report) • This form tells you how much aid you are eligible to receive from the government and how much the government expects your family to pay. • FAFSA Jeopardy

If you get in… • Bring Jamie your acceptance letter(s)! • I want to share in your excitement! • Check out the ACCEPTED wall! • If you applied to MCC—Take the ACCUPLACER exam • http://www.monroecc.edu/depts/counsel/ptestinghours.htm • http://www.monroecc.edu/depts/counsel/acculinks.htm • Wait for your aid award letter before making any decisions or sending a deposit.

  7. If you don’t get in… • Keep your head and hopes up! • This is just ONE school • Follow up on the statuses of all other applications by calling the admissions office or going online to your college account. • See Jamie to apply to another school.
