NA2 plans • Implementing the EGEE-2 dissemination strategy and plans (web portal, media coverage, translation and distribution of PR and IM, improving industrial relations etc.) • Specifics: • Periodic workshops • Special EGEE sessions at major international conferences held in Bulgaria (Coming soon: June, International conference on applied statistics, Sozopol,Bulgaria; August, 6th Int. Conf. Conclusion • The NA2 activity in EGEE-1 created a good base for future work • While doing ordinary work on translation and distribution of EGEE informations, we have used first two month to prepare documentation section and materials to help future grid users and to post them at our web portal: www.grid.bas.bg • Good luck to all of you! ICI-Bucharest (Romanian partner) • National Institute for Research & Development in Informatics (ICI), Bucharest is a leading unit in Romanian IT Research and Development. • Six Academy awards were granted to the ICI people for their results. • In 1999, ICI was ranked first among R & D Romanian organizations, in the EC survey. • Currently the institute is subordinated to the Ministry for Communication and Information Technology. • ICI is the coordinator of RoGrid (Romanian NGI); other members are UPB, UB, NIPNE, INCAS, ICN, SILVECO • Major dissemination event: March 2006, National RoGrid conference.
