  2. Abstract The presentation looks at some relevant use-cases for LC and the associated key performance indicators required. Minoru Komori (Ushio)

  3. Use Case 1：Shopping center (Amusement purpose) The specific area is designated as “Treasure hunting area”. People with dongle will search around the treasure in the shopping center. It is one of the amusement purpose and draw the customer to promote the sales. It is like an inside version of Pokemon-go. Minoru Komori (Ushio)

  4. Use Case 2：Projection mapping (Amusement purpose) The projection mapping light carries the signal. The attendance will receive the unique information, which is special for the people who are physically on the site. The signal also includes the command to the robot near the screen. (Ex.   5. Use Case 3：Virtual Reality with multiple people(Co-working purpose) During the design review work, AR (i.e. Augmented Reality) is an effective tool. In this example, two people can see the superimposed image onto the real car. Luminaire from the ceiling sends the image signal to their headsets. The wireless with low latency (i.e. less than 6msec) is important on AR application. In the case of dark environment, infrared light is applied for the signal to the headsets. Minoru Komori (Ushio)

  6. Target for PAR / CSD ■To achieve the use cases, PAR / CSD should target the following technical requirement. ■Data rate: In the range from 10Mbps to 1 Gbps ■Latency: Less than 6 msec ■Light flux sensitivity: 300 lux or higher ■Wavelength: In the range from 200nm to 2um Minoru Komori (Ushio)
