Leadership • Regularly develops, reviews and updates Ethical Policy Statements and Policy Statements on a variety of critical issues • Ethical Policy Statements represent ACHE’s position on various ethical issues and suggest guidelines of behavior for healthcare executives • Policy Statements provide ACHE’s position and guidance on professional and public policy issues • Statements originate from members and issues within the field and are often drafted at the committee level • Once a new or revised statement has been approved by the Board, it is made available via ache.org

Leadership Thomas C. Dolan Executive Diversity Program The Foundation of ACHE’s Fund for Innovation in Healthcare Leadership established the program to honor and further Tom’s long-standing commitment to achieving greater diversity among senior healthcare leaders. The program’s inaugural fundraising effort, a tribute dinner held in March 2013, raised more than $1 million from sponsors, contributors and donors.

Service Excellence Supporting performance excellence • Baldrige Performance Excellence Program–one of the greatest opportunities healthcare organizations have to improve quality outcomes and overall performance • Following the example of numerous healthcare organizations, ACHE is pursuing excellence through participation in the state-level performance excellence program • ACHE Received ILPEx Bronze Award in January 2012
