  2. Agenda for webconference 1. CTSA Workgroup updates: - Regulatory Knowledge Workgroup (Ms. Johnson) - Alternative IRB Pilot Models Workgroup and report on the SACHRP Meeting (Dr. Joyner) 2. Meeting updates and agendas: - December 18 webconference - January 15-16 face-to-face meeting 3. Discussion/draft charges to proposed new workgroups on: - Imaging - Clinical Research Management - Rare diseases workgroup to be presented in December

Meeting updates • Conference call with Dr. Zerhouni on Monday, December 10, 2007 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM about Jan 15-16 meeting in Bethesda. • Dr. Zerhouni will attend CCOC meeting on Tuesday, January 15, 2008 from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM in Bethesda. • Many volunteers to attend NCRR Council meeting Jan 30th. Dr. Alving to reply.

  4. Other meetings • January 30-31. CTSA Clinical Research Core Curriculum meeting at Hyatt Bethesda • March 24-26. CTSA and other KL2/K12 meeting – will include scholars. • Between March 11 and April 11, a CTSA Translational Meeting • Date tbd: a workshop to address Clinical Research Management

New workgroups/taskforce New workgroups on: - Imaging: Under the Translational steering committee to foster communication, coordination, and resource sharing among CTSAs in areas related to biomedical imaging research and technological infrastructure. - Clinical Research Management: Under Regulatory Knowledge workgroup, the first Workshop in 2008 will be devoted to improving processing of protocols arising from extra-institutional sources
