Oh, gosh nooooooo! I thought that I had managed to avoid her.
OMG!!!! This is going to be rough…. OMG!!!! Has she not read the website & seen the posters all over the place….
Safety is (a) Always the leadership team’s #1 priority (b) Sometimes (C) Not You’ve GOT to be kidding me! These people are just using this survey to have a go at management. “The most important thing to Laurice in her job is on-time, on-budget project delivery. She cares about safety for sure & of course she doesn’t want anyone to get hurt, but her focus is getting the job done on time & on budget.” “The posters? Oh yeah, that’s just political stuff that they have to say. It doesn’t actually mean anything.”
How do I FEEL? I FEEL TERRIBLE, that’s how I FEEL! Oh! I see where she is going with this…. OK, now I feel vulnerable, and I don’t like it. I actually feel PHYSICALLY UNCOMFORTABLE!
Genuinely engaging people is not quite that simple! “The posters? Oh yeah, that’s just political stuff that they have to say. It doesn’t actually mean anything.”
