We work communications based on three types of actions: • The obvious actions • The possible actions • The "impossible” actions (fantastic or dreaming actions)
The obvious actions… www.renata.edu.co • More than 2,000,000 visitorssince2009. • More than 2,600 live video streaming broadcastspublished. • More than 10,400 hours of academicactivitytransmitted to Colombia and Latin America. • More than 1,100 calls for the development of scientificwork. • More than 2,500 science and education news. • Winners in 2009 and 2010 of the Colombia Online Award for the Best Research Website of the country.
The obvious actions… Sending information via e-mail • RENATA built a database of over 13,000 contactsinterested in e-Science in Colombia. • Wesend emails with newsinformationaboutouracademiccommunityactivities done throughRENATA. • Also, weadvertiseabout the conferencesthatwill be transmittedthrough the RENATA live streaming.

The possible actions… PR… We try to visit all of our institutions and we explain (to users and managers) the potential and the services supported by RENATA.
