  7. نظم المعلومات الإدارية • ويقصد بها النظم التي صممت لأداء وظيفة او وظائف محددة وهي غالبا الأعمال الروتينية اليومية التي تقوم بها دائرة حكومية ما، مثل الاتصالات الإدارية (صادر - وارد)، إدارة الملفات الطبية في المستشفيات، نظم المحاسبة، نظم شئون الموظفين،..... وغيرها.وقد ظهر خلال السنوات الأخيرة ما يعرف بالنظم المتكاملة ويقصد بها النظم التي تتكون من عدة نظم فرعية تتكامل فيما بينها بحيث تكون في النهاية نظام شاملا لجميع وظائف الدائرة.
