Examples • The uds./ud./ella/el form might either be masculine or femine depending on the person or object you are talking about. • la como: I eat it (feminine DO - la sopa, la comida, etc.) • lo como: I eat it (masculine DO - el pollo, el arroz, etc.)
Sentences • I read it (book- libro) Yo lo leo. • She gives Bob the cat (el gato) Ella lo da a Bob. • He pushes Amy. El la empuja.
Indirect Pronouns • The indirect object answers the question "To whom?"or "For whom?" the action of the verb is performed • Ex: • He gives María the book.To whom does he give the book?To María. • Indirect object=le
