  2. Sunshine Brings Happiness • Warmer weather causes better moods. • People relaxing and sunbathing to get the perfect summer tan. • Less work/school time reduces stress and gives the body a break. • Vitamin C soaking into the skin and nourishing the body.

  3. Swimming • Hot summer days can be cooled off by a quick dip in the pool. • Children can stay active all day swimming and playing. • Lakes and Oceans become populated with eager swimmers.

  4. Laying out with friends in the warm sun. Boating and riding on the sparkling water. Picking seashells by the seashore. Making memories and traditions at popular beaches. Feeling the sand between your toes. Seeing the fish swim through the clear water. The Beach

  5. Road Trip! • Free time with friends to take a vacation. • Long drives with the windows down. • Singing along to songs you know. • Sunglasses and smiles of excitement all along the way.

  6. Camping Trips • Spending nights under the stars. • Camp fires with sing-along songs and ghost stories. • Roasting marshmallows and munching on smores. • Snuggling up in sleeping bags and waking up to the warm sun. • Getting closer to nature and taking a break from the modern world. • Admiring the beautiful surroundings that mother nature has to offer.

  7. Sweet Treats • Ice cream trucks all around for children to chase. • Lemonade stands at every corner. • Popsicles and Slurpees to cool down the heat.

  8. Gathering together to enjoy favorite bands/singers. Cheering and singing along to the words you know. Enjoying the cool summer nights on a crowded hill. Popcorn, candy, pretzels and drinks to enjoy during the show. Outdoor Concerts

  9. Fairs and Fireworks • Small amusement parks fill up empty fields for the weekend. • Cotton candy, elephant ears, games, rides, and laughter. • Firework shows with “oooo’s” and “ahhh’s”. • Fourth of July and decorating red, white, and blue.
