Is a Vegan Diet Really Good for Your Body? • So many Americans are often caught up with finding the “perfect” diet. While such a diet does not exist, many people choose to go vegan. Veganism is a type of vegetarian diet that excludes meat, eggs, dairy products, and all other animal-derived ingredients. People choose to be vegan for health, environmental, and/or ethical reasons. But is veganism healthy? Do vegans obtain enough nutrients for a human to live healthfully?
