  5. Slides • keep slides simple • legibility - “rule of sixes” • make text as large as possible; avoid line over-runs • don’t plan to write on slide during talk • don’t use photocopied pages from reports Project Presentations

  6. Slides - “rule of sixes” • letter size  6% of slide base length • letter height  6 x its width • content:  6 x 2 (=12!) items of information • about six slides in a short presentation • visibility: slides should be legible from six times their diagonal dimension Project Presentations
