    8. Zeus his diverse character List some adjectives that might describe Zeus. What are we to make of all his amorous adventures? Consider Ode to Zeus from Aeschylus Agamemnon.

    9. Hephaestus How is Hephaestus portrayed? What would he look like? Consider Hephaestus as Heras giant. Review selections from Iliad I, pp. 119f. and from Odyssey viii, pp. 121f. Consider context, esp. of Odyssey viii.

    10. Ares How is he portrayed? How does he appear?
