What is the MPP? Why do we have? • On line system to pay dues linked through the AAUW membership database • Branch leaders wanted online financial management tools • Aid to resolve discrepancies between branch, state, national membership dues records • Track current membership status throughout the year • Branch & individual participation is voluntary
How does it Work? • Branch accesses MPP through database on www.AAUW.org website • Display member names, membership status, i.e., life, student, etc. • Dues payment status, contact info in mouseover • Invoice – print or e-mail • Process payments
Individual Payments • Access personal membership status 24 / 7 • Renew online by credit card, or • Write a check, payable to branch or to AAUW Funds, give to finance officer
Branch Payments online • Treasurer collects paper checks • Made out to Branch • Deposits in branch account • Records in database • Pays AAUW through MPP by branch credit card • OR, pays by a branch check • Made out to AAUW Funds • Records in database • Sends package of checks to AAUW Funds
