Editing StageStage of Writing • Proofreading stage • Spelling, capitalization, punctuation, & paragraph form • Mechanics (grammar and content) • Allow 2-3 days before you begin editing your revised piece • Proofreader’s marks to make changes • You may meet with the teacher for final editing.
