Lower Bucks Hospital Announces Interim Site Medical Director for Emergency Services Bristol, PA–James Robert Frederick, MD, was named interim site medical director of Emergency Services at Lower Bucks Hospital, effective July 1, the hospital announced today. Dr. Frederick earned his medical doctorate from Jefferson Medical College, did his internship at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, CA, and completed his emergency medicine residency training at Drexel University College of Medicine. Dr. Frederick assumes the leadership position at Lower Bucks Hospital as part of a partnership between Lower Bucks Hospital and Legacy Physician Partners, the hospital’s strategic partners for Emergency Services. “We look forward to working with Dr. Frederick as a leader for our Emergency Department. His focus on EMS outreach and ED operations will be an excellent asset to our hospital,” said Lower Bucks Hospital CEO Kelly M. Lorah. Lower Bucks Hospital’s Emergency Department sees, on average, 26,000 unique visits per year and is known to the residents of Bristol and surrounding area for high-quality, compassionate care. The 150-bed acute care facility is renowned for its cardiology expertise, cancer treatment, surgery, orthopaedics and sports medicine, as well as ground breaking heart care. Most
