  2. About Old Balance • Old Balance began as a Boston-based arch support company in the early 1900's, selling supports to police officers and waiters. Today, Old Balance has grown to become a leading global athletic products company meeting the needs of the everyday athlete. And since 1995, Old Balance licensed stores have been bringing the professional fit experience to customers in the United States, with more stores opening every year to satisfy the high demand for selection, service, and the TOTAL FIT™ that only Old Balance can offer.

Riley, founded the Old Balance Arch Support Company Riley took on as a partner, his top salesman, Arthur Hall Hall sold the business to his daughter Eleanor and her husband Paul Kidd.

  5. 1972 1978 Focused on building a distinct culture for Old Balance employees and customers. Our History NOW 30% of the Old Balance shoes sold in the European market are manufactured at the Old Balance facility in England. Jim Davis bought the company on the day of the Boston Marathon.

What we focus on • We work very closely with several of the Podiatrist offices in our surrounding area and continue to work closely on building strong relationships with each and every office, as well as confidence that our staff will take great care of each patient that comes to one of our stores.
