Last Month at TPTF / February 2008 • Major Accomplishments / February 2008 (cont’d): EDS Accelerated Issue Resolution Process—Endorsement of: • Revision to Low Dispatch Limit (LDL) Equation to ensure that LDL and High Dispatch Limit (HDL) limits passed to SCED never exceed High Sustained Limit (HSL); this revision affects: • Energy Management System (EMS) Resource Limit Calculator (RLC) Detail Design, Section 3.2.6 • Nodal Protocols, Section 6.5.7.2 (8) • Revision to Ramp Rate calculation to remove High Emergency Limit (HEL) so that RLC only uses HSL when calculating High Ancillary Services Limit (HASL); this revision affects: • EMS Generation Subsystem Requirements, GS-FR36 • EMS RLC Detail Design, GS-FR36 and Section 3.2.1 ROS Meeting – 03/13/08 5 Texas Nodal Program - TPTF Update
