  5. Some Grade 8s battled with their reading – accuracy, fluency and speed. MP3 Stories for the Blind

  6. ‘MP3 Aids for the Blind’ developed from this 2 cell phones per group - one for recording, the other for music and sound effects. Part 3a - MP3 Stories for the Blind

  7. Then they wrote original collaborative stories in groups of 4 - 6 Recorded these, added backing tracks with music and sound effects Part 3a - MP3 Stories for the Blind

  8. Groups of 4 - 6 pupils scripted, acted and filmed short marketing movies and uploaded these to YouTube. Part 3b - YouTube Marketing Videos

  9. Checklists and rubrics were completed - both peer and own group. Part of evaluation was how popular their video became. Part 3b - YouTube Marketing Videos

  10. Over 30 000 visitors to the site • From over 100 countries • Over 250 stories uploaded • In 18 languages bit.ly/pifftblind
