IN THE BEGINNING • There was only six teams • There was only one field in Mexico city
NOW • There is 16 teams in the summer and 8 teams in the winter. • Each team has there own fields. • Scholarships are being given for Mexican students and some will play in the Mexican minor league and some will go to play in the majors or MLB
THE STRIKE • The league went under new management in 1957 • The players where upset and demanded more money. • The fans where stayed loyal and paid for the high tickets. • The fans did not let the Mexico's Base-ball die
The Book • “Pequenos Gigantes” (Sin us Giants) • Stopping the strike • Wrote to show how the fan saved the game. • There was a movie made right after carrying the same title.
