Susan B. Anthony was a teacher Susan B. Anthony(1820-1906) She went to a Quaker Church. She was a teacher. I am against slavery! She got a $100 fine. She believed people should be treated fairly.
Franklin D. Roosevelt (1882-1945) Grew up in New York. He grew up very wealthy. Gave people jobs during the great depression. Drove a red car 22 mph. Got elected 3 times. Got married to Eleanor Roosevelt.
Eleanor Roosevelt (1884-1962) She was wealthy. She helped people when she was little. She was shy. She flew over Washington D.C. with Amelia Earhart. She showed tolerance to Marian Anderson.
Mary McLeod Bethune (1875-1955) Diligence, justice. Wasn’t treated fairly. Couldn’t go to school. She learned how to read. Went to Scotia Seminary for school. Made a school for African American girls. She helped African American children be treated fairly.
