  2. Scenario Cards • Practice your speaking by recording yourself talking about one or all of the following scenarios (A, B, C, D).

  3. Scenario A (5 pts.) • Your Mexican pal, Carmen Lopés, is visiting you over summer vacation. Describe a couple of your friends to her.

  4. Scenario B (5 pts.) • While traving in Puerto Rico, you meet a puertoriqueño student about the same age as you. Ask the student where he or she is from and if he or she is a student at un colegio. Then give the same information about yourself.

  5. Scenario C (5 pts.) • You’re sitting in a café in Madrid when the student at the next table strikes up a conversation with you. Introduce yourself and tell him or her as much about yourself as you can.

  6. Scenario D (5 pts.) • You’re on vacation in Chile with your mejor amigo(a). A Chilean friend of yours wants to know something about your American amigo(a). Say as much as you can about him or her.
