Program Mission The Sales Trainee Program enables qualified high potential external candidates the opportunity to accelerate their development by providing a rich and diverse set of experiences within the Sales organization. This program is up to a six to nine month learning and development experience designed for future sellers.
Career Track • Customized Program designed to provide participants with an expertise in Sales • Regional team of leaders oversees each participants individual development plan • Upon graduation, candidates have the opportunity to move into a Site Relationship Manager, Account Manager I or II role
Participants gain exposure to the following areas: Sales Branch Services Distribution Center eBusiness Participants are assigned a mentor for the duration of the Program. Trainee Development Series of developmental assignments with a specialized focus in sales
Candidate Profile • Hold business undergraduate degree (preferably in marketing, management, industrial distribution / supply chain) • Must be able to relocate • Possesses demonstrated leadership behaviors • Exhibits strong interpersonal and relationship building skills • Is results-oriented • Lives the Grainger Values
