What did he study? • Benjamin studied many different things in science like smokey chimneys, the affect of oil on water, and electricity • Electricity was his biggest discovery ever, he became very famous for it • One of his most famous experiments started with a key a kite and a strike of lightning that is how he discovered electricity

Why is Electricity important? • Electricity is important because without it we wouldn’t be able to see in the dark, have cell phones, cook food fast and have fun in the summer at the fair • Electricity is also important because at night its not just your blankets that keep warm there is a whole heating system in your home
