Weekend Residency Research Project

This weekend residency research project aims to develop a MS PowerPoint presentation on the topic of emerging threats and countermeasures in IT security. It includes a cover, thesis statement, research question (if identified), methodology, data analysis, conclusion, discussion, and references. The final research paper and PowerPoint slides must be uploaded daily to iLearn and before leaving the residency. Each team will have 15 minutes to present their research.

Develop a MS PowerPoint presentation • Cover • Topic • Thesis statement • Research question (if identified) • Methodology • Data analysis • Conclusion • Discussion • References • Your research paper and PowerPoint slides must be uploaded daily to iLearn before leaving for the day.  • Your FINAL research paper and PowerPoint slides must be uploaded to iLearn BEFORE leaving the residency. • Pro Tip: Use the "notes section" to enter the speaker notes, so your presentation is focus and anyone in the group can present, if necessary. • Everyone in the group must present. • Each team will receive 15 minutes to present their research. Research paper must be in APA style (version 6) • If you're new to APA, search online  • Paper format: Literature review • Must have at least 10 works cited • Cited work – no older than 5 years • All work must be peer reviewed articles  • Must be at least 1,500 words  • Body only  • Don’t overthink.
