War Horse Review • This movie is about a boy named Albert, and his horse Joey. Their family is very poor and needs money so his father sells Joey to the British Army in WW1. In an effort to find Joey, Albert joins the British Army, among the violence and bloodshed of WW1. • The movie takes place in England. • The most dramatic thing that happened in the book is that Albert eventually finds Joey and they ride home to their farm together.
