Title Bar Located at the top of the window and identifies the program you are working in and the file name for the presentation.
Office Button Opens the office menu, which has commands common to all Office applications.
QAT Has buttons for frequently used commands.
Ribbon Clipboard, slides, font, paragraph, drawing, editing Has Graphic command buttons organized by tabs and in GROUPS. CLIPBOARD, SLIDES, FONT, PARAGRAPH, DRAWING, EDITING.
Tabs Home, Insert, Design, Animations, Slide Show, Review, View
SLIDE PANE Orange Area: Area where you do most of the work of adding text and graphics on slide.
Panes SLIDES OUTLINE GRAPHICS TEXT Slides tab: Displays thumbnails of the slides including graphics. Outline: Displays the TEXT on the slides.

Animations/Transitions Animations are the movement of text, graphics, or objects on the screen. Transitions are how the one slide enters and exits the slide show.
Notes Help to guide you through your presentation; these notes don’t appear on the slide show screen, only for speaker.
Status Bar Appears at the bottom of the window and tells you which slide is displayed and the total number of slides.
Review • Where is title bar located? • Top of window, identifies program you are working on. • What is the Office button? • Contains common commands to all applications. • What is the Ribbon? • Graphic command button organized by tabs and groups. • What are the 3 panes (work areas)? • Slides tab, Outline tab, Slide pane.
