Career Mark standards • Standard M - Management planning and management of systems • Standard C - Curriculum the careers curriculum – well balanced and supports personal development • Standard I - Information appropriate and relevant information, development of information handling skills • Standard G – Guidance programme of advice, guidance and support • Standard O – Outcomes evaluates the effectiveness of provision
CEIAG Self-Assessment • A framework to develop effective CEG programmes • Assessement against National Quality Standards for IAG • Assessment also mapped to Career Mark standards

CAREER MARK • Received funding from LSC to complete elements of Career Mark. • The Becketts have Career Mark • Gainsborough College were recently awarded Career Mark • Trent Valley Academy have achieved the Information module • QEHS are soon to submit evidence for Management and Information modules
Further Success • Employer Engagement Event 9/12/08 • IAG at the heart of joint Gainsborough INSET • Collaborative IAG Self Assessment – 8/11 elements of the assessment were areas of strength • Regular attendance at the termly IAG meetings
Key to Success • Genuine interest in the development of Gainsborough and its students. • Close links between the Gainsborough Operational Partnership Group and the IAG Group. • Reactive to change • COLLABORATION!!!
