License TransferCorporate • Select 3 , 4 , 5 • Enterprise 4 , 5 • To transfer licenses the customer must provide the original license confirmation and a brief statement detailing what is being transferred. • This statement should include: • details about the number of licenses • reference the terms and condition under which the software can be used. • For the transfer to be valid, the recipient must sign the statement indicating agreement with the terms specified in the license agreement. • Microsoft does not track licenses that are transferred, so it is vital that the recipient be able to produce the license confirmation and the written statement to prove proper transfer and ownership of the licenses. • Please note: because the transfer is between the customer and the transferee, it is not necessary for Microsoft to sign the statement

Volume License Product Keys (VLKs) • A Volume License Product Key is a product key issued to a specific customer under a specific license agreement • Each VLK is associated with a particular customer and type of product that the customer is licensed for • For Select License Agreement, Enterprise Agreement, School Agreement or Campus Agreement customers, one VLK is issued per enrolment agreement per product family • For Microsoft Open License customers, the VLK will be provided on the Open License order confirmation
Volume License Product Keys (VLKs) • These VLKs are to be used when prompted by the product at installation or when a custom image is created • A VLK must be used with volume licensing media • VLKs cannot be used with retail full packaged product or OEM CD media
Volume License Product Keys (VLKs) • There are six VLKs available based on the specific product being installed. The six VLKs are: • Office 2003 Suite VLK • Office 2003 Application VLK • Office XP Suite VLK • Office XP Application VLK • Windows XP VLK • Windows Server 2003 VLK

Channel Training Kit Objectives: • Provide fast and easy access for all channel partners an “operations” specific view of all business streams and processes across the Asia Pacific region. • A one stop reference for daily operations and on-going refresher training, also beneficial to internal S&M for more understanding on program logistics • Formatting a blue print for on-going program operational updates • Enhance partner experience ability to access help anywhere, anytime as the kit will also be available in soft copy via “Explore.MS”
