CSCOPE Unit Assessments • To expedite availability of Unit Assessments, they are currently available on a “temporary” ftp site that is accessible to all districts (that means that all districts will use the same site, same user name and same password). • The “temporary” ftp site includes folders and a PDF file for each Unit Assessment. • Each district will choose to distribute site, username and password to meet its needs.
CSCOPE Unit Assessments • Unit Assessments will be available on the CSCOPE Developer in the future. • ftp://web3.esc2.net/ • This a secure site which requires a username and password • Username: cscope.esc01 • Password: esc01.63i7
CSCOPE Unit Assessments • Which subject do the Unit Assessments cover? The subjects covered include Reading/ELA, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. • What grade levels do the Unit Assessments cover? They cover grades K through 8 and (Eng I-IV), (Alg. I & II, Geom., MM), (Bio., Chem., IPC), (US History, World Geography, and W History). • How many item per test? It depends, the early grades may have less than 10 items, the elementary grades have between 9-14 items, the secondary grades have between 10 and 23 items.
CSCOPE Unit Assessments • What type of answer sheets do we need-those with ABCDE or FGHJK? The unit assessments are in the ABCD format. The system that your district uses for scanning tests such as unit assessments or benchmark assessments probably offers answer sheets in either format. Currently CSCOPE does not offer scanning, scoring, or reporting. • Do the answer keys provide the TEKS/TAKS Objectives and the Targets? Yes.
CSCOPE Unit Assessments • What type of reports will we be able to generate to target student needs? The Unit Assessments will provide your district with the assessments. Your district will have to do the actual scanning, scoring, and reporting with a data disaggregation system (i.e. AEIS IT, Triand, Process Manager etc.). The type of reports available will depend on the system your district uses. The most requested reports should be available on just about any system. • Will districts get a tutoring strip with the report results? Not sure what a tutoring strip is.
