Day One The training program will serve as an introduction for new cashiers to Kudler Fine Foods. • Introduction Video from Kathy Kudler • Safety Video followed by short comprehension assessment. • Facility Tour • HR Paperwork
Day Two The instructor will teach the cashiers how to complete an order from start to finish, focusing on specific techniques for efficiency and quality customer service. • Followed by: • Written Assessment • Live Demonstration • Best Practices
Day Three • The trainees will spend the first half of the day shadowing a veteran cashier. • The second half of the day focuses on pricing, policy, and procedures.
Day Four Putting the training in action… • Cashiers Begin Servicing Customers. • Final Written Assessment
Day Five – Final Assessment • Cashiers are assigned registers • Mystery Shoppers - Error Margin - Customer Service - Attitude • Manager provides feedback highlighting successes and working on opportunities.
Course Evaluation The course evaluation asks for the trainee’s opinion on several items, giving the company valuable information that can be put into play for future classes. • Curriculum • Length • Instructor • Structure • Comments • Concerns
Recommendation The team recommends that Kudler uses this plan with the next group of newly hired cashiers and monitor how effective the training plan was.
