  2. Lead-in: Today we will study unit 6 Good manners. Well, what are good manners? It means good behaviors, you do something in a polite way. We can say that helping each other is good manners We have known what are good manners, then, what about bad manners? What are bad manners? It means bad behaviors, you do something in a impolite way. We can say that being late for class is bad manners

  4. 1.butter plate and knife • 2.dessert spoon • 3.glass • 4.salad plate • 5.napkin • 6.main course fork • 7.salad fork • 8.main plate • 9.main course knife • 10.soup spoon • 11. cup, saucer, and teaspoon

Listen to me carefully and judge what are good manners and what are bad manners • Wash hands before dinner • Finish eating everything on your plate • Talk with your mouth full • Stand up to get the food while eating • Come into other’s room without knocking at the door • Say thanks to someone who helped you • Smoking in public • Picking up flowers • Climbing the fence

  6. Look at warming-up, there are four pictures, look at them and answer my questions, then fill in the blanks • Where are they? • What are they doing?

  7. Ok, so much for warming-up, next we will listen to a story between Bill and Cliff, read the questions first and try to guess the main idea What are the problems that Bill and Cliff talk about? What does Bill say to apologize for taking the bike without telling Cliff? What does Bill say to apologize for losing the bike? Ok, first I will play the tape whole, then I will play it on sentences by sentences, listen carefully and try to fill in the blanks
