  2. Our family name Polapragada came from : Prolayapraggada as our ancestors were ministers to king ProlayaVemana, Who ruled Prolayavaram; Now called Polavaram. Same way, prolapragada has become Polayapragada, and now POLAPRAGADA .

  3. Late Polapragada Satyanarayana Murthy is paternal grand father of Niharika. • Her Grand mother is Famous writer smt.PolapragadaRajya Lakshmi. • They were blessed with two sons, • Sri Lakshminaryana Murthy and • Sri Balaramakrishna Rajasekhar. • Niharika is daughter of Rajasekhar.

POLAPRAGADA CLAN • Sri Polapragada Ramayya( had 2 sons Lakshminaryanamoorthy, Narsamiha rao ) and • - Ramyya’seldest Son • Lakshmi Narayana Murthy married Sundari • ( had 1 daughter Jagadamba,, 4sons ie., Sriramamoorthy, krishnam Raju, Govindasuryaprakasah rao, satyanarayana alias, Rama,krishna, Govinda, Narayana. ) • Their Youngest Son, Satya narayanaMurthy(1929-2002) married Rajyalakshmi ( 2 sons Lakshmi narayna murthy and Balarmakrishna Rajasekhar alias, Prasanna, Viswanath ) • - Their younger son, • Polapragada Rajasekhar Married • Moganti Subba Laskhmi and whose daughter is • POLAPRAGADA NIHARIKA

Sri Polapragada Ramayya was a land surveyor • Who never took more remuneration • as ill- gotten wealth would harm his heirs, • He did not depend on his son for his expenses and • kept Rs 500 till his last day, for his last rites • to keep his life’s policy of self reliance. • Sri Ramayya’s son, sri Lakshmi narayana Murthy • (1923- 1967)was a pleader (passed metric) • And never argued a case of separation of brothers • or Husband and wife. • His son, Sri Satyanarayana Murthy was English • Lecturer and was a famous writer in Telugu Literature , • never took money for tuitions.

  6. Thus Self reliance, United family and Ethical values in earning money Have become Polapragada family values. Koundinya, Vasishtha, And Maitravarana Are 3 Rishis guide their Polapragda family, and their Gotram is Koundinyasa.
