The Process of Mitosis By: Derrick Alba
Conclusion • In conclusion, mitosis is a 6 phase process with a phase before and after mitosis called Interphase which, along with other cellular functions, is a preparatory phase for mitosis. • Mitosis occurs in all body (somatic) cells except eggs and sperm) and eukaryotic cells which includes animals, plants, fungi and complex bacteria. • The phases of Mitosis are Prophase, Prometaphase, Metaphase, Anaphase, Telophase and Cytokinesis.
