  2. Over the past few years , Jordan has Peacekeeping troops as part of the UN missions in conflict – Stricken regions of Europe, Asia, and Africa . Currently these troops number is 3700

  3. The Jordanian medical contribution started since 1989 with level one medical support along with Jordanian troops participating in the UN missions in conflict – stricken regions such as previous Yugoslavia , Croatia and Bosnia

  4. Despite the large number of contributors , the greatest burden continues to be borne by a core group of developing countries . Jordan occupies number 4 out of the 10 main troop contributing countries to UN peacekeeping operations as of June 2006.

  5. Our medical teams have been deployed in more than 13 different locations over the world, as part of the peacekeeping and Humanitarian missions

  32. As they carry out their humanitarian missions the Jordanian medical teams train local physicians , medical students and health care workers .

  33. The Jordanian efforts to join the international humanitarian campaign in support of suffered people will continue… …………….
