  1. Achieve Weekly Activity

  2. Set up Notebook • Date • Title • Graphic Organizer • Activity Reasoning 1-8 Cite your evidence • Vocabulary 4 Square (back of page) 4 words

  3. Poll • Talk about it, make a decision (Mondays!)

  4. Vocabulary • Create 4 Vocabulary Squares on the back of your page. • Choose 4 challenging words Word

  5. Article • Complete Graphic Organizer: 5 W’s unless otherwise directed. Who What Topic Why When Where

  6. Article Cont. • Answer 3 Blue circle arrows, depending on teacher’s preference • Summarize: 1-2 sentences of what you’ve read so far. • Questions: What are you confused about? What do you want to know more about? • Setting the Purpose: Answer the questions provided to help you with the Thought Question.

  7. Activity • Under the Graphic Organizer you will need to provide your reasons before submitting your answers. • Number 1-8 and provide evidence and reasons for your decision. • 1-2 sentences • 75% or higher!

  8. Thought Question • Answer all Thought Questions with CEL format. • Claim: Answer the question as a statement. • Evidence/Explanation: • Link: How does this information help support your claim? How does this connect to you?

  9. Requirements • You must complete 1 article a week. • If you finish early, make sure to edit and revise your Thought Question before submitting. • Early Finishers: • Achieve Article • DOGO • TIME for kids (If you receive 75% on your weekly article and complete an additional article of your choosing you will receive a Mustang Ticket.)
