  1. Zeus(Greek)Jupiter (Roman) Parents: Kronos & Rhea. Birthplace: In a cave of mount Dicte. Attributes: the Chariot, Palace, Lightening Bolt, Sacred Animals, and Sacred Plants. God of: Heaven, Sky&Weather, Law&Order, Fate, and Star Jupiter. Favorite Island: Crete.

  2. In the left picture of Zeus, you see him with a lightening bolt in one and a dove sitting one the other hand. This symbolizes two things that he is god of. The lightening bolt represents weather, and the dove symbolizes sacred animals. In the picture on the right, Zeus is holding a lightening bolt in one hand, and a scepter in the other. Again, the lightening bolt represents weather, and the scepter of royalty which represents Zeus’ role of god of men. I chose these pictures because they show his attributes and power. 470-460 B.C.
