  5. Eight years ago, a terrible earthquake struck Haiti.

  6. Haiti is also at risk from powerful hurricanes.

  7. Lots of houses in Haiti are built with flimsy materials, which means they get damaged easily.

  8. Jephthe lives in Haiti. The earthquake struck on his second birthday, but he survived.

  9. Zaza also lives in Haiti. Her family had to run for shelter when the last bad hurricane hit.
