Curriculum Redesign Materials English: • Core-Aligned Expository Writing Course Profile • Sample Core-Aligned Expository Writing Syllabus • Five sample modules with exemplar assignments • Crosswalk between Common Core State Standards and Expository Writing Course Objectives • Glossary of Terms Math: • Core-Aligned College Algebra Course Profile • Sample Core-Aligned College Algebra Syllabus • Five supplementary tasks • Crosswalk between Common Core State Standards and College Algebra Course Objectives The next Curriculum Redesign Convening will take place on January 17th at the Tennessee Higher Education Commission.
Curriculum Councils Goals: • Build on existing partnerships between state education agencies, regional K-12 districts, Institutions of Higher Education, and the Business Community. • Devise and execute specific action plans that address common areas of need. • Increase Postsecondary Attainment.
